Vulcanic activity on Venere are being changed the face of the planet
On Venere there is volcanic activity, that it is changed the face of the planet, making it similar to the Earth, approximately 2,5 billions years ago.
Venere is in the formation of the tectonic plates, similat to our planet.
A study published in the newspaper Nature Geoscience, lead by Jet Propulsion Laboratory, of the Istitute from California, that it has examineted the results approximately thirty years ago, from NASA’s Magellan probe.
It was lauched in the 1989, that it has orbiteted around to the Earth twin, between 1990-1991.
Venere without tectonic plates and the mechanisms by which the planet cools have remained a mystery for a long time.
Now, the researchers lead by Suzanne Smrekar have discovered, that the surface of the planet is approximately 11 kilimetres, that can permit to the heat to escape, through plumes of molten rock.
